Development organization of Gladys 4

Thank you for your message @Reno!

We are discussing this on the relevant topic, here it’s more about talking about organization.

Hello

So, what is the status of the release? Is it still planned for the 21st?
I did another test for my Z-Wave devices, no change, integration is OK but no information feedback except for battery.
For the French translation, I can help if there is a tutorial explaining how to do it
Thank you

Hello everyone,
Good news, following a first review by @pierre-gilles, I have completely rewritten the synchronization code for the CalDAV service. Now the synchronization is done incrementally, which means: a more optimized process, - synchronization time, - network load
I hope the PR can pass for the RC :crossed_fingers:
Have a good week!

Hello @Will9 !

As I mentioned earlier, I had a bad cold that lasted over a week. I was bedridden and fell behind on the schedule… No release on the 21st!

The scene view is coming along well. I’m working on it today to make the final touches and hope to deploy it to the beta soon (sometime this week, I’ll keep you posted).

For Z-Wave, I was waiting for feedback from a contributor on GitHub, but I still haven’t heard back from them… As soon as I finish the scenes, I’ll move on to Z-Wave, but that pushes back the release date of the RC.

The translation is in a simple JSON file (Example with the English file). For the French translation, you just need to provide the same file in French (and test in the UI to make sure it looks good…).

Great! Well done @bertrandda!! I’ll check that out after the scenes and Z-Wave.

Congratulations on everyone’s progress
Can you also provide an update on the 433 MHz?
Can it be integrated into the release?
Good luck to everyone, I know that developments are always more complicated than expected, which doesn’t stop me from being impatient…

Hi JPL, for the « real » 433MHz service I don’t know, but if you’re interested, I’m currently developing an rflink service (433MHz + Milight + MySensors + 2.4GHz)

Hello Joeypic

Will what you’re developing be able to control 433 MHz outlets?

If so, that’s great

Do you have an idea of a release date?

I’m ready to do some testing if you want

Good luck (it’s easy to say when you don’t know how to do it yourself…)

Rlink allows you to control all 433mhz outlets, if you want more information: RFLink Gateway - HomeAutomation

A release date will be complicated, I have a few development issues but I would like to be able to release the base of the service (everything except Milight) in 1 or 2 weeks

Great news that it will take only a few weeks to establish the foundation of this service
See you soon and good luck with the finalization
