Hello,
I frequently (about once a week or even every 15 days) lose my MQTT configuration with the following message:

I just have to go to the configuration tab and click « save configuration » to resolve the problem. Is there a solution to avoid this issue?
Thanks for your reply.
I should mention that Gladys runs in a Docker container with the parameter --cgroupns=host
Mosquitto also runs in a Docker container separate from Gladys
@zedyxer How are you running Mosquitto? And which version?
There is a version of Mosquitto that causes issues and I know we pinned the Mosquitto version in Gladys.
Otherwise, checking the Mosquitto logs can help see what’s wrong.
Thanks Pierre-Gilles for your feedback, I’ll look into that.
FYI I’m on version 2.0.18. I’ll monitor the gladys and mosquitto logs, especially during the next outage, I’ll be
Ok @zedyxer, actually I don’t recommend 2.0.18.
We pinned Mosquitto to 2.0.15 on the Gladys side because we had issues with versions starting from 2.0.16, I think ( Gladys/server/services/mqtt/docker/eclipse-mosquitto-container.json at master · GladysAssistant/Gladys · GitHub )
Maybe that changed on the Mosquitto side, but it could be worth testing another version of mosquitto
I just encountered the issue again, strangely the log is completely empty, as if all the connections were lost, gladys as well as all my peripherals.
I just forced Docker to 2.0.15; I’ll report back within a week, thanks pierre-gilles
