Following this discussion [Question] guest mode or screens - Configuration - Gladys Assistant Community, we found it useful to have a system for accessing Gladys dashboards without authentication. It could be a « token in the URL » system or something else..
The main benefit for me is to create startup scenarios for the Nest Hub and opening a dashboard:
- If presence is detected in front of the Nest Hub, then turn on the Nest Hub and display a given dashboard…
- If a button is clicked, then turn on the Nest Hub and display a given dashboard…
Thanks to a command line with the python lib catt and with dashboard sharing without authentication, it would be convenient to do this kind of scenario:
catt cast_site "http://gladys.local/dashboard/5c42709f-f7bc-48a0-9e66-8255fa1ff015/general"
Questions to consider:

I can easily envision a new Share button next to Fullscreen / Edit on the Home where the user can choose to share a particular dashboard or not share any dashboard if they don’t want to?

Security-wise: keep this feature local only? maybe also add user/IP restrictions?
