[Presentation] Greggus

Hello!

I am Greggus - I have been in the Paris area since the creation of the Raspberry Pi, I want to get into it!

Now I have a house and I would like it to be fully connected - What I would like to do?

  • All my connected lights and I have a particularity I have garlands that are not connected - How to connect them? And all this with motion detectors - Is it possible?

  • I have automatic roller shutters that I would like to automate with the sound of my voice - Is this possible with Gladys?

  • I would like as soon as I leave my house to have a notification on my phone that the door is well closed and that it turns off the lights or turns them on when I arrive - Is all this possible with Gladys?

  • Presence detector too but I don’t really see how to use it yet

I am a computer fanatic, I haven’t really coded for years, resume coding with which language to best use Gladys?

Thank you

Hello!

At its simplest, connected power outlets.
A bit more complex (expensive) z-wave modules.

It depends on the technology of your roller shutters. Wired switches? Wireless?
Wireless, it may get complicated depending on the brand…

Yep, with an opening sensor on your door, or a presence sensor via bluetooth (and to be at the top, both, see other means)

Thanks for the answers

Is it possible to start and learn with Python without knowing anything about Raspberry Pi and OOP?

Thanks

Gladys, this is JavaScript (Node.js).

If you have some development basics, I won’t go through Python :slightly_smiling_face:

Your call

I had some web basics and a bit of OOP …

So I’d like to get back into it seriously

IF you have some web basics, nodejs is javascript, it should come back quickly. :stuck_out_tongue:
