I recently signed up to join the Gladys community; I’m here to explore the assistant. Originally on Domoticz via Raspberry and, for the past few years, on Eedomus, I’m coming here to initially manage my automatic irrigation and possibly later migrate all of my devices.
I pulled out my Raspberry with the freshly purchased sonoof dongle; I’m currently installing Zigbee2mqtt but the service won’t start. I’ll browse the topics here; there is definitely information on this

Feel free to create a thread about your issue with Zigbee2mqtt with all the information so we can look at it together 
FYI @Jeremy51, there was a bug with Mosquitto (the MQTT broker we use in Gladys) in version 2.0.16 that probably affected you.
Gladys Assistant v4.26.1 will pin the Mosquitto version to 2.0.15, which should fix your issue:
