Iâm taking the opportunity to ask @Lokkye: do you have any Tuya hardware? 
It might be more motivating to develop this integration if you have hardware available at home, and given the demand for this integration, Iâm sure we could set up a fundraiser to buy you some hardware!

No, I donât have any Tuya-brand gear. I wouldnât say no to some test gear; it would make testing easier.

What would be the development method for the module to make it usable with Gladys.

Gladys is a Preact frontend (like React), a Node.js backend and an SQLite DB.

Iâm interested, I have switches managed via Smart Life, I recently ordered an on/off module with power-consumption monitoring, a temperature and humidity sensor, and a smoke detector.
Iâve installed the development environment, Iâm starting to read the docs and get reacquainted with Gladys v4.
Iâm not sure Iâll have the skills (junior dev) but Iâll follow this closely.
What stack are you a dev on? Everything can be learned! You just have to persevere and not give up!
Working on an open-source project is also great training; it can help you level up your skills

Mainly Java/Spring/HTML/CSS/Microsoft SQL Server, web services (SOAP XML), a bit of JS.
But my courses and projects are still fairly recent, I continue to self-train/tinker out of curiosity (Android/Flutter/React) and I have a small web project in development (Symfony/PHP, React for the front-end, MySQL, Tailwind CSSâŠ).
And yes, Iâve been thinking about open source for some time for my personal growth but also for others if possible 
For now, Iâll read the docs, Iâm starting to look at the project structure, what AlexTrovato started regarding Tuya, how the services are built, etc., and Iâll get back to you if needed with questions

Ok, if youâve already worked with all those techs, even partially, thatâs already a sign that youâre curious and that you learn quickly I think thatâs the important thing! Development isnât learned, itâs practiced

There are sales on Domadoo: Tuya/Smart Life Sales
But be careful, with Tuya if you get Zigbee devices you need a Tuya bridge, I donât know if they sell any at Domadoo.

Everything is local on my machine for now.
Since Iâm just starting out with Node/React/Gladys, Iâm progressing slowly while drawing inspiration from other services. At worst, it helps me get a feel for things for maybe future developers on Gladys
