Problem restoring MQTT service with Gladys Plus

Greetings!
I decided this morning to start from a clean 64bit installation on my RPi4.
So I made a manual backup via Gladys Plus, then restored it a few hours later after reconfiguring everything else.
So far so good
But…
Following the restore, it is now impossible to change the MQTT container password to put back the one chosen at the start!
There is one set by default but if I try to change it, I get: ‹ saved successfully › then ‹ connection attempt › and nothing…
For the devices I have access to, I set the password suggested by default but some devices are hard-coded…
Any idea?

Ah, that’s strange — when you say « one is set by default », isn’t your browser automatically generating the password?

Could you try testing in another browser (without automatic password generation)?

The password is generated when the MQTT container is created. The problem is that we can’t change it…

Normally you can change it, but there may be a bug ^^

Do you have any additional logs (Gladys logs / browser logs) to help us see where it’s coming from?

Well…
I’ll probably come off as an idiot again, but… The password was successfully changed during the test a few minutes ago…
Still, it’s not for lack of trying yesterday, and I didn’t do anything different today!
The important thing is that it works, but it would have been better to know why
Have a nice afternoon!

Great that it works, but it’s a shame we couldn’t reproduce what happened  Next time, try to check the logs and send them to us

Eureka!
It wasn’t the password that was causing the problem but the login!
At no point did I think it was ‹ case-sensitive › and I had an uppercase letter in my credentials…
Without realizing it, I probably re-entered it last time.
Not a Gladys bug, just a dumb user :innocent:
