Pronote integration

Hello

I’m currently testing the Pronote integration, but I can’t log in at the moment. Are other users experiencing the same issue, or is it related to my configuration?

I’ve also tried connecting via QR code, but I get the same result.

However, I checked by logging into my Pronote account on another screen, and everything works fine on that end. The issue therefore seems to be with the integration rather than my Pronote account.

Thanks

Hello @Prof_Techno,

Thanks for reporting :folded_hands: It wasn’t your configuration: it’s a bug in the integration.

The cause
PRONOTE has been updated to version 2026.2 on the server side. The login page has slightly changed format, and the library that the integration uses to communicate with PRONOTE could no longer read it. Result: failure on every connection (password as well as QR code), displayed as “unreachable server”.

The fix
This has been fixed in version 0.0.2 (the integration cleans the page before reading it). The connection works again, by password and by QR code.

What to do

  • Update the integration to 0.0.2 (until the image is published).
  • Run a “Test the connection” again.
  • If needed, use the “Connect with a QR code” button.

Let me know if it works on your side :+1:

Hello

still an issue:

Hi @Prof_Techno,

Thanks for the feedback, and it’s still not your setup :folded_hands: Version 0.0.2 fixed the login page reading, but PRONOTE 2026.2 also changed the login calculation. The integration was still responding the old way, so PRONOTE rejected the password and QR code, even if they were correct.

I reproduced the issue on the PRONOTE demo server (2026.2.7), and the fix works there: login, grades, homework, schedule.

This will be in version 0.0.3. In the meantime, avoid multiplying attempts: after too many failures, PRONOTE can block the IP address for a while. Once the update is done:

restart “Test the connection”;
for the QR code, generate a new one just before (it’s only valid for a few minutes) and fill in the 4-digit code properly.

Let me know if it works :+1:

The connection finally worked, but as always, there’s a „but“…

Everything is unavailable!

The connection to Pronote is established, but I get the following message:

Connected to PRONOTE as Mr. . (**, LYCÉE GÉNÉRAL ET TECHNOLOGIQUE ***) : average unavailable, homework unavailable, classes unavailable.

When I went back to the Pronote website, I even got a little message:

„The site is currently unavailable. Your IP address is temporarily suspended!"

So, I don’t know if this is due to a website update or if the frequent calls from the integration triggered this suspension. Hard to say at the moment!

I’ll wait a bit and try again later, when everything is back to normal, to see if the information becomes accessible.

In the meantime, bring on version 0.0.4!

Hello @Prof_Techno,

Thank you for the feedback and the logs, they helped me find the issue.

What was happening

  • PRONOTE had suspended the IP address of your Gladys (SuspendedIPError).
  • The integration didn’t notice: it displayed “connected”, marked each piece of info as “unavailable”, then continued to query PRONOTE every 15 minutes.
  • The “Refresh” button of the widget sent even more requests.
  • These extra requests can extend the suspension.

What 0.0.4 fixes (available now)

  • As soon as PRONOTE reports a suspended IP, the integration immediately stops querying it.
  • The connection status and widgets display the real reason.
  • The next read waits for 1 hour.
  • During this hour, the “Refresh” button and the scene action “Read now” no longer send anything to PRONOTE.

What I recommend

  1. Update the integration to 0.0.4.
  2. Wait for the suspension to be lifted (usually about 1 hour), without refreshing or clicking on “Test connection”.
  3. Check on the PRONOTE website that the message “Your IP address is temporarily suspended” has disappeared.
  4. Only then, click on “Test connection”.

If it still doesn’t work, send me the new logs.

I’m passing by and I see that the connection error message is green.
@prohand could you make it red like the other integrations you had modified? (I don’t even remember who I asked about some of them)

@mutmut well spotted, thanks!

It’s fixed in version 0.0.5: when “Test Connection” or “QR Code Connection” fails, the message now appears in red under the button, always in Gladys’s language.

The widget’s “Refresh” button doesn’t change: in case of an error, the reason already appears in the widget.

The update will arrive in Gladys as soon as the new version is published.
