[End of 2022 poll] What do you think of Gladys Assistant?

Hello everyone!

Every year I take the temperature to understand what could be improved in Gladys

The goal is to evaluate the software’s progress, and see what we could change in Gladys to attract new users.

If you don’t use Gladys, I’m interested as well: I want to understand why! (lack of integrations? hardware shortage? etc… )

This year, the survey is very simple and really takes 2 minutes to fill out:

Feel free to say frankly what you think (while remaining respectful of course)

The survey is anonymous, and I will publish the results as charts so that the whole community / the project’s developers can benefit from this survey.

Thanks everyone! :folded_hands:

Thanks to everyone for answering the survey, 129 of you responded, that’s great

I talked a bit about the survey during my last live stream (at minute 17:54), but I planned to share the full survey results here (after removing, of course, any personal data from the results)

The idea is to allow the whole community to see the current pain points, and if you want to help improve the experience, you can!

If you think some answers should become a GitHub issue/a feature request, feel free

Hi @pierre-gilles

The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, that’s nice
We even discover a 76-year-old user — classy!

Do you plan to do a year-in-review like you do every year, particularly regarding forum activity? I have the impression there were many more, but that remains to be confirmed.

Keep it up, Gladys is really a quality product! Knowing that you dig into the details to optimize the code (yours or others’) is pleasant — we almost feel more « secure » in terms of stability!

I don’t see the point but I find it amusing :upside_down_face:
