Would it be possible to add a dark theme to Gladys, because the current theme is hard on the eyes.
I know it’s not a very important part of the project, but I think visual comfort is important.
Hi and welcome!
A simple and commonly used solution is to choose a Dark theme in the browser…
If I’m not mistaken, @Tlse-vins and @spenceur use it and will be able to tell you more!
I’m using the dark theme on Firefox… but when I open the Gladys page it doesn’t respect it and displays in blinding white, we should see if other people are in the same situation — I thought it was a bug on my end but apparently not!
There is a feature request here that corresponds to your request. You can vote for it

Same on mobile Chrome and Chrome on PC/Mac and Fully Kiosk Browser it’s 100%
Firefox on PC?
The drawback of the browser dark mode is that it’s a bit generic… And it’s not very consistent. Gladys has an advantage: its UI — I find that the browser dark mode makes it lose that advantage.
Personally I’m in favor of a native dark mode! ![]()
No, I’m on Vivaldi, and I only tried it on my phone.
Me too, but for now on my phone, using the browser, that suits me
Same with Opera’s dark mode but I don’t use it much.
Why reinvent the wheel when it works well elsewhere ![]()
Because I actually find that it doesn’t work well elsewhere ![]()
Best wishes to everyone.
On Edge the forum is in dark mode but the Gladys dashboard is not.
