White screen on mobile Opera browser on Android

I get a white screen on the loginscreen/homepage when using the Opera browser on Android. No adblock/VPN is on. It works on Chrome, so Opera seems to be the problem.

Opera 93.1.4906.86256, Android 16.

Hi @NoiZe and welcome to Gladys

I have to admit that Gladys is not tested on Opera, so it’s possible it won’t work (Gladys is tested on Firefox, Safari and Chrome). Generally, Chrome derivatives (

I think opera is also based on chromium though.

I just installed opera to give a try on Android and everything is working well…

Maybe flush cookies, data and so on… ?

It was part of a bigger problem. I’m running it on a PI 4b and the USB bootfs became corrupted. It worked, but gave a white screen somehow in Opera. After fixing it, a.k.a. in the end re-installed Raspbian, fired up the Dockers with a backup of the DB and config-files.

Voila: no white screen anymore in Opera.

Why? I do not have a clue.

Great! Happy to hear it’s fixed

In the future, I suggest using a more robust mini-PC with integrated SSD; you’ll run into fewer issues like that!
