Yes, the idea is that I have Zigbee modules behind the switches in addition to the Aqara bulbs. That way, there’s no issue with the bulb’s power being cut.
There won’t be many devices (5 or 6 max), but it’s the range that concerns me. The idea is to create a mesh network up to my garden shed, which is about 12 meters from the house, so taking into account the walls… I think I’ll be really pushing the limits of the range.
Otherwise, my other solution is to hide a router in the lighting power access panel (under the tiles) of my pool, which would give me an intermediate point without any walls around.
I don’t know if they have relays or not (since I haven’t received them yet). It’s a somewhat limited choice because I want everything to be compatible with zigbee2mqtt.
