Improve Zigbee networks

Hello !
Currently I have a house with an upper floor.
My Zigbee gateway (Sonoff 3.0) picks up signals without issues on the ground floor, but upstairs it’s more complicated.
IKEA bulb is OK, but my buttons e2001 on the ground floor are fine and once upstairs it’s a disaster — none of the buttons are recognized.

So I was wondering if a Zigbee repeater might be needed.

Does anyone use one or not?

I don’t have a repeater at my place.
But I have Philips Hue lights on the ground-floor ceiling that act as repeaters for the upstairs.
Could this work at your place?

Almost all mains-powered devices act as relays — bulbs, plug modules, etc.

I’m a bit in your situation: I have my server kept cool in the cellar and three floors (ground floor / 1st floor / converted attic) and it’s all concrete slab.

The bulbs and roller-shutter modules do the job.

Well I suppose my 3 bulbs don’t do it  (3 Ikea bulbs)
To pair I have to be close to the coordinator :frowning:

Same, but afterwards the network organizes itself.

Ah ok! I’ll see how it goes then ^^

Sorry for the double message, I don’t have the edit button on my previous message ^^’

I wanted to know if anyone has a tutorial to update the dongle with the latest firmware ?
