About Philips Hue integration

Hello everyone,

Has anyone already implemented a Philips Hue bridge in Gladys Assistant?

I wonder about the interest of the bridge in a context where everything can already be managed directly in Zigbee (via Zigbee2MQTT for example).
Does the Hue bridge really bring any advantage in terms of features, stability or integration in Gladys?

Furthermore, are the dynamic / « living » ambiences offered by Philips Hue usable from Gladys, or are we limited to static scenes?

Thanks for your feedback!

Hello,

I had a Philips Hue bridge and I switched the bulbs to Zigbee2Mqtt.
The operation from Gladys is exactly the same. All lamp unit control and automation will be possible.

You lose control from the Philips Hue app and its features not integrated into Gladys (transitions and group control).

You can reproduce static scenes in Gladys (control a device on each lamp), but it may be less intuitive.

Thanks @cicoub13 for your reply.

Well, I’ll stick with Zigbee then… and if I want a « candle » ambiance, I’ll go to the app…
