I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running Gladys and so far everything is fine.
I understood that it is possible to connect Philips Hue bulbs directly to Gladys via zigbee2mqtt (without a Hue bridge).
The Zigbee adapter is correctly recognized on Gladys and everything is green, but no matter how I scan, it finds nothing.
I did a manipulation to put the bulb in listening mode but it remains connected to the remote control…
Do you have any idea?
Am I mistaken with this story of Zigbee without a Philips Hue bridge?
You indeed need to remove the lamp from the Hue system (via the app) and turn off/unplug your Hue bridge.
Then, activate Zigbee pairing from Gladys and perform the operation to reset the bulb.
Thank you for your responses.
Actually, I don’t have a Hue bridge. I bought an E27 sold with a remote control (on/off + dimmer).
The classic Hue app asks me to connect a bridge so I can’t do anything. However, since the bulb is also Bluetooth, I just discovered that there is another app to control the bulbs via BT ( @philips why two apps when everything in one would be much more convenient…).
I will therefore try to reset the bulb via Bluetooth and we’ll see if it works.
