Add WiFi smart plug by MCL DOMO

Hello everyone. I’m a beginner with Gladys and I’m trying to integrate a smart plug from the brand MCL DOMO.
Currently, it works via the brand’s application. But of course, I would like to add it to my assistant.

However, I can’t find it no matter which integration menus I look in.

Do you have any ideas?

This brand is not managed by Gladys.

Two options:

  • Either you develop a Gladys integration, but you need development skills for that.

  • You might be able to manage with Node-RED + Gladys. I don’t know if Node-RED has an MCL DOMO integration…

By the way, is this brand « open »? Do they have an open API for these outlets?

I was able to deploy nodered, tried the connection but I’m not sure about my configuration…

Is that the Node-RED module you used? node-red-contrib-smartplug (node) - Node-RED

I’m not sure if it’s for your brand of plug, right?

I tried that one but I’m not sure if it’s suitable or not.
And especially if my Node-RED flow looks good.

I don’t see any mention on this package that it’s made for this brand.

I looked up this brand a bit on the internet, it seems a bit unknown to me, I don’t know where you bought it but there’s little chance that this outlet has an open API…

I found it at Leroy Merlin.
As for me who wanted to move on, I think the Aquara order will be made faster than expected!
