Hello everyone!
I have been following the project for a while but have never tried it myself. Having recovered WIFI connected outlets (Meross MSS210) as well as WIFI connected bulbs (FITOP controllable via Smart Life), I would like to integrate them into a Gladys installation.
After some research, particularly on this forum, I get the impression that V4 does not yet allow this, could someone clarify this point?
I found a library (GitHub - Apollon77/meross-cloud · GitHub) for controlling the outlets via MQTT but I have no idea how to integrate it into Gladys. I am open to any information or advice! ![]()
Thanks in advance!
Hello @Jonas
You have an example of an MQTT device in the documentation
Thanks for the reply @VonOx! ![]()
It turns out that this type of outlet requires sending data to the manufacturer’s cloud servers, and that’s not really what I want.
In the meantime, I’ve been able to spend more time learning about MQTT, and I think I’ll either go for a DIY solution based on ESP or, when necessary, for devices supported by the Zigbee2mqtt service.
I won’t delve any further into the topic of these Wi-Fi bulbs and outlets and will mark the topic as resolved ![]()
Hello. I took a look and made a few remarks ![]()
Two more general questions:
- You haven’t implemented the poll feature (like here: Gladys/server/services/philips-hue/lib/light/light.poll.js at master · GladysAssistant/Gladys · GitHub). Is this intentional?
- Devices are added from the Front by indicating the IP. Is there no way to « discover » the outlets already configured in the Meross Cloud and display them?
Hello, this interests me because I use these outlets but I cannot find any documentation on this local API?
Thank you.
Hello,
That’s perfect, I bought a Meross plug ![]()
Is it going well? ![]()
Hello.
This topic also interests me. ![]()
Can we give a hand to move forward?
I’m interested too, unfortunately any news?
