I’ve never heard of anyone using this device, so I have no idea if it works with Gladys (if someone uses it, please speak up :p)
That said, I won’t hide the fact that Z-Wave integration isn’t the most popular integration for Gladys. People use a lot of Zigbee (with Zigbee2mqtt), or Sonoff (with Tasmota integration).
As for Z-Wave, @Romuald_Pochet is trying to migrate the integration from Open-Zwave to ZWaveJS, but in the meantime, the current Z-Wave integration is not very used and poorly maintained.
Why do you want Z-Wave? Are you already using Z-Wave hardware? Why not switch to Zigbee or Sonoff gear, often cheaper and just as good (I would even say better) ?
Ah, and also! Why not go with just a temperature sensor like the Xiaomi Aqara for example? For 8-10€ you have a Zigbee temperature/humidity sensor of excellent quality (they are tiny and super sleek)
Regarding Sonoff, I recommend switching to Tasmota. This will allow you to control the device locally, whereas Ewelink is cloud-based and apparently the Ewelink API is not very stable ^^
