It’s me again!
Is it normal that for a fire detector there is a « Motion detection Yes/No » feature?

Below is a response that @pierre-gilles had given me

The easiest right now is to use Node-Red for ZWAVE

Thanks for this info
It might be worth mentioning this in the documentation :warning:

So I’ll go back to Domotic

Hello @Doudy, indeed I confirm, currently the Z-Wave integration in Gladys is based on a library that is no longer maintained. We’re migrating to ZWaveJS, but it’s a lot of work and there is less enthusiasm for Z-Wave than in the past (many people use Zigbee now), and so on the developer side it’s less common to have developers motivated by Z-Wave ^^

In the meantime, using ZWaveJS2Mqtt + Node-RED + Gladys is the best solution!

I added a note in the documentation, so it’s clearer

Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks for the info
The problem is that you have to change your equipment (probes, detector, key)

No need (unless you’re talking about Zigbee?)

Yes, I was talking about Zigbee.
Sorry, I should have mentioned it!
