I just installed my door sensor and here’s the result:
The temperature probe works fine but the door motion sensor… well, nothing at all… any ideas?

This sensor works with Z-Wave!
The library that Gladys uses is not maintained, which means many devices are not recognized or are recognized incorrectly.
That could be the cause.
I should have checked which library was most supported by Gladys, so I’m switching to ZigBee, without, however, abandoning Z-Wave… Thanks for the info!!!
You can get Sonoff door/window contact sensors for around ten euros that use Zigbee at domadoo
So here I am with the Sonoff USB, on Zigbee, and the Aqara door sensor… But it won’t detect it… The USB is on the USB3 of my RPi4… Bad luck??
Did you buy it on domadoo ?
I had a problem with the same dongle
I couldn’t add new devices.
Maybe it’s something else (try a USB extension cable)
I returned it and I just tried it again and it seems to be working.
I’ll finish my tests tomorrow !

Hello,
I have the same sensor that doesn’t work natively in Gladys.
To integrate it, I used Node-RED with the Z-Wave JS palette and exchange with Gladys via MQTT. It works very well (apart from the battery indicator that I can’t retrieve); it would be a shame not to use your sensor.
Weren’t we talking about Zigbee?

On my side, since the exchange everything’s perfect with the Sonoff Zigbee 3.
By the way, does anyone have a procedure for the update?
Otherwise, I hope that for you the USB extension cable or tilting the antenna will be sufficient.
If not, check with the seller to see if they can do an exchange.
Thanks @spenceur, I did indeed send my dongle back; I’m getting the new one tomorrow — I’ll report back afterwards. For info, I tested the first one with an Aqara door sensor and a Sonoff temperature sensor… it couldn’t see a thing!!!
