Hello, I purchased your Gladys Plus Pack (Pack gladys plus).
To add the cameras, I have IP cameras and I don’t see how to get them recognized — they are Netvue cameras.
Hello @alain33 !
I think there’s a misunderstanding ^^.
Gladys Plus does not allow adding cameras.
For that, there is the camera integration on Gladys
.
Are your cameras accessible via RTSP?
I’ve moved this post into a specific thread, so ![]()
Question: where did you put it? I’d really like to have the answer.
You’re already on the topic @alain33
Hello Mr. Censor, what’s the use of the 10 if you can’t put an IP camera on that protocol? Are there other systems that allow it? Otherwise I don’t see the point of this software, and so I made the stupid mistake of trusting and buying Gladys+.
Hello @alain33,
Here is the Gladys documentation accessible to everyone regarding cameras: Caméra | Gladys Assistant.
Also a link regarding the protocol used by your Netvue-brand camera: Complete Netvue IP Camera Setup Guide - ONVIF, RTSP and Tutorial Included.
Regarding your question about Gladys Plus I reiterate @spenceur’s point, you must have had a misunderstanding. There has never been any question of being able to connect cameras via Gladys Plus, which is not a standalone application. Gladys Plus, as Pierre-Gilles has always explicitly said, simply allows you to view your cameras previously installed on the Gladys software locally (which itself is completely free) in a secure way (in addition to lots of other things ^^).
Furthermore, as specified in the Gladys documentation, Gladys is only compatible with rtsp and http streams or via USB (so this should be checked by each person before purchasing anything solely for this need).
Feel free to look through the entire documentation, Gladys also does lots of other things; maybe some of them will be useful to you
I did not understand your remarks.
But as I said you can add your cameras via the "
It’s compatible according to the ffmpeg docs ![]()
