Add more functions compared to the day

It would be a good idea to add checks for the time of day, for example, whether it’s daytime or nighttime.
This would allow scenes to be triggered based on the time of day.

For example,
My motion detector detects movement, if it’s daytime it will turn on the ceiling light based on the room’s brightness.
However, I would like this not to happen in the middle of the night, because if I have to get up and it lights up the room, it could wake up my partner.

I’m for it, but there’s a way to easily bypass the problem by using a fake device, a plug called ‹ night ›, via MQTT for example.

You create a scene ‹ at sunset, turn on the plug… › and ‹ at sunrise, turn off the plug… ›

There are quite a few hacks around the MQTT service at the end ^^
Thanks for the info

It’s already planned, I wrote functional specifications in this topic:

There are 3 new « boxes » that should appear in the scenes, after one of them gives us quite a headache functionally

So, do recent developments meet your needs?

The time condition box seems to meet the need:

If yes, can I close the topic?

Yes it’s good! Thanks :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
