To avoid having to program in the scenes the selectors’ return to the « inactive » state after 10 seconds, for example, a push button would be more suitable.
A concrete example:
In the bathroom, I have a Zigbee button. I press it (single click) to turn the heating on for 30 minutes.
If I control it in Gladys from the living-room tablet, I had to create in my scene a return to the selector’s « inactive » state after 10 seconds so that I can trigger it again and so it looks cleaner.
With a push button offering an « animation » to show when it’s activated, there would be no need to add that.
I quite agree with @cicoub13 because if I’m not mistaken, the « push-button » mode is already supported if the device has that function.
Personally, I have devices that allow me to open my gate; when I activate the switch in Gladys, it immediately returns to its initial position.
There is already a request on this topic, wouldn’t it be the same thing?

There are already 6 votes on that one, including mine
Good evening @guim31
Yes I have that too and indeed it manages itself, the button on the dashboard lights up and turns off by itself because of the button’s feedback, but as soon as it’s no longer on Zigbee or there is no state feedback, the timed button will be very useful.
