Waterproof Raspberry/Arduino enclosure for the garden

(re)Hello

I partially connected my vegetable garden with Home Assistant ( don’t hit me!!). I think I’ve already asked the question about Gladys master/slave instances, but that’s not the point…
The Raspberry Pi in the garden is too far from the Raspberry Pi in the house. And Gladys doesn’t recognize my devices (SASWELL - solenoid valve and Zigbee-connected irrigation timer + power consumption measurement), nor Zigbee2MQTT, which explains it. Home Assistant recognizes them without problem.

And once again, that’s not my question.

Here it comes.. :grinning:

To optimize watering, I’d like to have small Arduinos in the garden to test the soil moisture… Do you have an example of an enclosure suitable for this kind of thing, if possible with a small solar panel, a battery… ?

Thanks in advance
Olivier

For my part (only pool sensors) I go for waterproof junction boxes, like these: Amazon.fr : boite dérivation étanche\u0026sprefix=boite dérivatio,aps,189\u0026ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_3_15.

Après à toi d’intégrer un panneau solaire et une batterie

So, DIY-wise I already do a lot of it (and not very well either ), I wanted something neat and reliable…
Does anyone need one and want to join me on this (small) adventure?
