Hello everyone,

I suggest a map of the location of the Gladys community members.
This is to connect those who are geographically close.
Working and sharing our passion for home automation is more fun together :smile:

For those who wish, I leave you to add yourself with your first name and pseudonym as well as the link to your profile and your city, so it will be easier to contact each other :wink:

Yo,
I did a bit of sorting, we can only have a maximum of 10 layers, so I divided them into:

  • Unknown
  • North
  • Northwest
  • Northeast
  • Center
  • Southwest
  • Southeast
  • Belgium
  • Switzerland

I added an « Unknown » layer because there have been quite a few points created without details (so I find the interest a bit limited for making contacts), except to have an overall view of where the Gladysians are located.

Otherwise, I’m curious to know who is in Toulaud because I’m not far away, if this person wants to send me a PM :wink:

For your information, there is an activatable map on Discourse; that would avoid having to go through some Google thing.

Hello,

I live in Sainte-Maxime in the Var department. I tried to add myself to the Southeast table, but it produces an error.

So, I thought using Google Maps wasn’t ideal, so I took the liberty of recreating this map in OpenStreetMap.

You can find it here : Gladys Members Map - OpenStreetMap.

The map is currently private and only usable by those who have the link.

I hope I’m not breaking any rules and that this will help restart sign-ups on the map; I would be delighted to find members near me…

However, I see that there are already quite a few people on your OpenStreetMap link, including people who no longer seem to have profiles on the Gladys forum.

No, I did an export/import of the Google Maps map into OpenStreetMap. I had indeed noticed that some links weren’t working…
