Lighting configuration

I need your help configuring a « devices » widget.

I would like to reproduce the display shown on the demo site for my connected lights, i.e., on the same line the switch and the power:

On the demo site, it is indicated that this is a « room devices (deprecated) » widget.

On my end, I have, at best, this result:

Do you have any ideas for me to get everything on one line?

Give us more information, what type of lamp is it, the integration used… anything that could help us answer you

Normally there’s nothing to do.
You just need to insert all the features into the wisget

Below is a preview of 2 lamps at my place

Thanks for your reply.

These are two Kajplats bulbs from IKEA, Matter over Thread via Apple TV 4K (and therefore Matter integration)

I would look into the code, but I think you need all the features as in my example to display everything on the same line.
That is:

  • On/Off switch
  • Light color
  • Light brightness
  • Light temperature

Oh no, not at all, I just tried it at home and it works with just a switch and a brightness

Can you show me the widget config?

Here is

Okay, everything is fine. I’ll look into the code and keep you updated if I find out why.

@Damien,
I found the issue: it’s not your config. The Matter integration creates the on/off functionality as a « switch » (switch category) and not as a light, even though brightness is indeed a light. The widget only groups light category features on one line, hence your two lines. The Matter integration needs to be fixed, I’ll take care of it.

The correction is thorough and the PR is open: fix(matter): create the OnOff cluster of lights as a light on/off by William-De71 · Pull Request #3296 · GladysAssistant/Gladys · GitHub
