Hi @bab85 ![]()
It all depends on the integration and the types of features it handles.
For example, the Aqara (motion/brightness) works very well as a multi-sensor on Zigbee.
In the case of the Tuya integration, this integration is very new and features are being added as requests come in, so if any features are missing don’t hesitate to request them!
Thanks for the reply @pierre-gilles. I’ll therefore get one of these multisensors and run some tests. Regarding Tuya, that wasn’t my preference (I don’t use it), but I read that it doesn’t handle the OWON multisensor correctly, so I was wondering about Gladys.
Ok, keep us posted, and if anything doesn’t work, don’t hesitate
The product evolves based on feedback, nothing is set in stone!
Hello everyone,
As mentioned, I bought an OWON PIR313-E detector which has a motion, humidity, temperature and light sensor. It also has a tamper that lets you know if the device has been removed from its mount or not.
I know it’s the OWON brand because Domadoo sells it as such, and I found it on the OWON website. But neither on the product, nor on the packaging, nor in the manual is the brand specified. Only the model name appears. In my opinion the exact same device is sold under other brands.
I paired it with z2m and the device was recognized, and motion, temperature, light and humidity are correctly reported to Gladys
.
I made a small scene that turns on a plug if motion is detected and the light level is too low. And it works.
So overall we can say that the PIR313-E is integrated into Gladys ![]()
But, and yes there is a but
, two pieces of information are missing in Gladys: the battery level and the tamper value. These two infos are present in the z2m interface. I put used batteries in, and in z2m I do have the battery indicator blinking to tell me it’s Low. And the tamper does change from false to true when I remove or replace the device on its mount (false: device in place; true: device removed).
So for the device to be fully integrated, it would need to be able to report these two pieces of information
. Calling all developers ![]()
I have a remark unrelated to this topic, which isn’t very useful, and it bothers me a bit that I’m the one making it given my poor spelling
. But would it be possible to add an « s » to « présent » in the widget « utilisateurs présent »
. If I show my dashboard to my friends, I don’t want them to think that I’m the one who made the mistake ![]()
You should create a new topic « feature request », a motivated developer might look into it! ![]()
@guim31 :ok thanks.
Thank you @cicoub13
