Hello,
My irrigation timer (non-connected, old-school
) gave out when the water was turned back on at the start of this spring… So of course I looked to replace it with a Zigbee-connected model. A Neo-brand model was on sale at Domadoo; I received it today. Here’s its page on the Neo website.
Except…
In fact, Zigbee2Mqtt detects this device (model TS0601) but shows « Not supported ». Nothing is displayed in the ‹ Expose › tab.
Before I try to apply the « Support new devices » pages (here and there), I thought one of you might have already integrated this device?
I don’t see it in the zigbee2mqtt supported devices Zigbee2MQTT
So it would first need to be integrated into the library we use.
Thanks for the info, @cicoub13
I tried… but I spent too much time today trying to apply what’s on the « support new devices » page with no result…
I think I’ll return the device, and order this one instead:
https://www.domadoo.fr/fr/jardin-meteo/7000-frankever-controleur-d-arrosage-wifi-tuya-avec-minuteur.html
Since it’s well listed on the zigbee2mqtt page (here), does that mean it will be controllable without any problem from Gladys?
However, you must take the Zigbee version, not the Wi‑Fi version, if you want to pair it in zigbee2mqtt.
On Wi‑Fi it may work with the Tuya integration.
For support, you will be able to control the switch and read the linkquality in Gladys. The other exposes are not supported.
So you will be able to turn it on and off.
Well spotted, thanks!! Zigbee was of course my intention, but I hadn’t seen that there were two models on Domadoo. And for good reason, the Zigbee version is unavailable, so it’s not offered in searches…
On closer inspection
On this model there aren’t many exposed features. However, the automatic switch-off time management is not supported.
But with scenes you can do the same thing.
