Thanks @Chris75 for the mockup, and for the Mammotion idea ![]()
In 0.6.0, the Robot Vacuum widget follows your mockup:
- the battery moves to the list below the card, and the card moves up accordingly;
- the list shows the battery first, then the wear of all parts, from the most worn to the least worn (in red below 10%, in orange below 30%). For those who prefer the old list (mode, suction, route, humidity, last cleaning), the widget has a new List parameter;
- Clean cleans the checked parts in your « Select parts to clean » box when there are any: the button is then called Clean selection. Without any checked parts, it cleans the entire home as before, and a paused robot always offers Resume;
- Base becomes Return to base.
You just need to update the integration (no new device, so nothing to do in Discovery).
Quick Clean: Yes, it’s Gladys who limits each widget to 4 buttons. To have more, add a second Quick Clean widget and name its buttons. Robot Maintenance: You can remove it from your dashboard, it is still offered for those who like gauges.
Mammotion Zones: It’s a Gladys choice list, displayed as buttons when all choices fit on a line, as a dropdown list otherwise. The Dreame integration already has one, Room to clean: a single room, cleaned as soon as you choose it. With your 10 rooms, Gladys will display it as a dropdown list, due to lack of space.
Choosing multiple rooms on a line, on the other hand, no Gladys command allows it today: a list has only one active choice, hence the « Selection » switches. A multiple-choice list would be needed in the core, where each button turns on or off. It would need to be proposed to Pierre-Gilles: it would also be useful for Mammotion zones and Matter robots, which choose their rooms in the same way.
Quick Clean Input hits the same limit: a widget setting can only propose devices from the integration in a list, not rooms or shortcuts. In the next version, a name that doesn’t match anything will be flagged in the widget with the list of recognized names: you just need to copy them.
Finally, the vacuum card proposed for the core (#3160) puts your switches in the robot panel: on the dashboard, only one line remains. You can vote for the request: Robots aspirateurs : une ligne de contrôle complète dans la boîte Appareils
