Hello,
Currently I have HAOS (Home Assistant OS) installed on a mini PC, I have only installed a single module for a roller shutter.
I’ve been told that Gladys may be easier to use.
If I want to switch to Gladys, how can I install it on this mini PC where HAOS

Oh well, you’re already here.
If you want to keep Home Assistant (HA) on it, it won’t be possible with your configuration.

But if you want I can give you a hand

 but you’re everywhere

@floloma I don’t know HAOS, but if it’s a Linux system you can absolutely install Gladys alongside it.

You need to run Gladys manually with Docker:

HAOS is Home Assistant OS, he has a Home Assistant installation directly on his mini PC.

So in that case it’s not possible to add Gladys without tinkering.

Ok, isn’t HAOS (Home Assistant OS) a Linux system? Why can’t we install Gladys on it?

Yes, it’s indeed a Linux system with Docker for the add-ons, but you’re limited in the commands you can run from a terminal.

I don’t think you can do a docker run, but we’ll see — I’ll try on my test instance
