Development Service 433 MHz

Hello everyone

Would there be any volunteers to port the v3 module managing 433Mhz to a service for v4?

There will surely be some modifications to make, to make it easier for the user:

  • Add a link to all resources to download and install in the Arduino + tutorial
  • Learning Mode: Allows listening to instructions that Gladys will have to reproduce
  • Manual Mode: Like the V3
  • Add a compatibility table that would allow in advance to know which object works and how, with Gladys.

What do you think?

That’s what I thought too

433MHz is not Z-Wave

Another sign that I’m really clueless

Hello,

Zwave is a protocol using the 868mhz frequency. Like 433, it operates on radio. Zwave is much more complex and secure. An article comparing the two:

Hello everyone,
I am unable to develop a 433 MHz integration module, but I am interested: Pierre Gilles could see that I have what it takes at my place: sockets, shutters I hope, contactors…
While waiting for a competent person to develop the module, I have wired my Nano with a transmitter and a receiver and validated their operation by connecting it to a computer: it works
To make it look neat, I 3D printed a case to hide all that: if anyone is interested, I have the STL files available.
It looks like this:

Thanks in advance to the developers

Hello and Happy New Year to you

For my part, given that my installation is mainly composed of 433 MHz, developing such a service was my main objective for Gladys 4.

If you want to follow the progress, I invite you to check out the thread I just created on this topic.

Have a nice day
