Following my recent purchase of Sonoff products, they are labeled as « DIY ».
This feature allows interacting with the device via mDNS and REST API without needing any third-party application or having to flash the device with Tasmota.
The communication protocols are therefore « basic » and remain on the local network.
Thus the device stays in its original state, with no risk of making it inoperable because of improper handling, and no need for the eWelink app.

I think this integration will make it easier for us to include « native » Sonoff devices.
It should be made clear that only DIY devices are supported.
