Aqara water sensor extension

Hello everyone,

I would like to add a water sensor under my hot water tank.
I saw that it was possible to add extensions so as not to have it directly on the floor.
It will certainly be easier to change the batteries instead of having to bend down and try to catch it with chopsticks :smiley:

Have you already used cables? If so, which ones? If not, do you have any idea what kind of cable I might need?
I tried with simple electrical cables but I’m not convinced because the cables tend to lift up ^^'.

Hello, I’ve been using this sensor for a few years for my pool and my hot water tank, hung on the edge of a bucket; 1 mm rigid copper wire does the job — it works great.
