By the way, maybe the line is thin between core development and integration development, but this issue (native heating management) is clearly a core development, it’s not an integration!
There is no need for hardware for this feature request.
Otherwise, @lmilcent if you want this issue to move forward, 90% of the work here is functional specification.
I think you’re used to it, I do it for every feature request, but you will have to do:
- Study of the different heating solutions (we will make a development that will be the same regardless of the integrations, not just Zigbee)
- Functional specifications: what do we want?
- Mockups: What will it look like?
- Finally, the development
In short, writing code will be the last 10%.
If you don’t feel like doing all this, unless someone else looks into it, personally there are dozens of other requests more voted than this one so it may take a long time before I get to this feature
