Gladys Assistant 4.31: Filter by tag & MQTT in scenes

I really like this idea :+1:

Excellent!

Oops, the cron format used by the programming library in Gladys isn’t standard and I swapped the minutes and hours, so the task runs every hour at minute 4 :joy: It’s not a big deal, I’ll fix that

Can you create a small GitHub issue for me so I don’t forget?

Yes, no problem

Hello,
Great to be able to trigger scenes with MQTT messages without going through Node-RED in particular!

But is it now possible to publish to an MQTT topic from a scene (the inverse of the new feature)?

Did you create a feature?

Do you get the issue often? I haven’t managed to reproduce the bug so far and I haven’t really spent much time on it, indeed. The GitHub issue is still open

Yes, thank you all again for this very nice version.

It happens to me quite regularly, yes ^^

I’ve just deployed to Gladys Plus the fix for the button « Exécuter seulement lorsque le seuil est passé » that wasn’t working anymore

On Gladys local, I’ll do a release a bit later! Thanks to @_Will_71 for the quick fix!

for the devs :+1:

a few notes

There should be a short text to specify that you need to type the tag name in the « Select » field, or replace « Select » with something like « Enter the tag name here » because it’s not obvious to find the first time

A small bug
I have my scenes

Hello
Same for me, When I trigger a scene or disable it, the tag disappears. And when you search for it by the tag, it no longer appears .

I’ve noticed the same behavior. When a scene is disabled, it no longer appears when a filter is applied to a tag that applies to it.

Maybe to more precisely pinpoint the issue of the ‹ tag that disappears ›:

  • When editing a scene, you can enable/disable the scene, then save, and everything works fine — the tag is retained.
  • However, when you are on the page that lists all scenes and you enable/disable the scene directly from there, the tag remains displayed, but in fact it has been removed from the scene (you can verify this by editing the scene: the tag is no longer present). And this explains that if you try to filter by that tag, the scene no longer appears.

Thanks for your feedback! @Lokkye I don’t know if you saw

Tags are a real plus!

But it’s a shame that when you select a tag — heating, for example, because you want to edit all our heating scenes (I have 17 at the moment) — it gets unchecked when you exit scene editing.
You have to check it again each time.

I agree @gaetanb76! Did you create a feature request? It’s true that it would be a real plus
