This new release brings significant improvements to Matter, Nuki, and several bug fixes.
Nuki v1.0.1: A more robust integration
The Nuki integration has been updated with several important fixes:
- On startup, Gladys now checks that the service is properly configured before starting, to avoid errors in the logs.
- MQTT subscriptions are now limited to registered Nuki devices only, which avoids unnecessary listening.
- A scan (HTTP or MQTT) is no longer possible if the service is not configured: the loading spinner stops and a clear message is displayed.
- Entering the API token in the configuration tab is now validated: in case of an error, a message is shown and the token is automatically cleared.
Thanks to @ProtZ for this groundwork!
Matter: Several improvements
Matter continues to evolve rapidly in Gladys:
- Pairing process clarified: pairing instructions are more readable and accessible for new users
- New Boolean & Switch clusters: To handle the IKEA BILRESA and the Aqara Door And Window Sensor P2. I developed this compatibility by testing via Matterbridge; I’m open to feedback for IKEA / Aqara

- HEPA filter monitoring: Matter-compatible air purifiers can now expose the HEPA filter status in Gladys, thanks to @Nagromdark!
I’m continuing to invest in Matter and I’m currently preparing a major update to the matter-js library to provide more stability and broader compatibility.
Thanks to everyone waiting for this big release ![]()
Matterbridge: Fixed a bug where the current version wasn’t saved correctly, which could cause unnecessary repeated container updates.
Bluetooth Presence: Clearer for new users
Now a message clearly indicates that this integration only works with Bluetooth « beacons », and not with smartphones or smartwatches.
Missing icons for energy production sensors
Features of type ENERGY_PRODUCTION_SENSOR had missing icons in certain views. This is now fixed, thanks to @Terdious!
The update is applied automatically, and if you want to force it, you can start the update from Settings → System in your Gladys interface.
Have a great weekend everyone! ![]()
