A new version of Gladys Assistant is available: v4.73.0!
This release brings several important improvements around energy, Matter, Tuya Local support, and Airplay integration.
New Features and Improvements
Matter.js updated to 0.16.11
Gladys now includes the latest version of Matter.js (0.16.11).
This update improves the compatibility and stability of Matter devices, as it’s a major update from version 0.13.0.
Please check that your Matter devices still work with this version, as the Matter.js file migration may have been problematic for some users.
Tuya Local: First Integration Base
This first PR lays the groundwork for Tuya Local support in Gladys, eventually allowing some Tuya devices to be controlled locally without relying on the cloud.

Energy Management and MCP Optimization
This version adds new features around energy and improves the performance of the MCP (Model Context Protocol), used by AI clients.

Replacement of the AirTunes Library
The airtunes library has been replaced by airplay-sender to improve the stability and maintenance of the Airplay feature.
