Gladys Assistant v4.11 is available: Zigbee roller shutter support and new Tasmota devices!

Hi everyone!

I’m releasing a new version today with some interesting compatibilities

Zigbee roller shutters support

Zigbee roller shutters are now supported by Gladys

Thanks to @AlexTrovato for the work!

New Tasmota devices

Tasmota BL09XX, DS18x20 and ESP32 devices are now supported by Gladys!

Improvements / bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug in the « Send an HTTP request » action of scenes when the HTTP response contained an array or a null value.

This bug fix now allows you to use the Math.js API to perform calculations in scenes:

You can then use the calculation result in subsequent actions

  • Added new units to display data rates in Mb/s, file sizes in bytes/MB/GB, and daily precipitation! (#1601) Thanks @VonOx!
  • Changed translations for water leak sensors to make them clearer (Yes/No). Thanks @AlexTrovato
  • Fixed a set of feedback issues on the Broadlink integration following the launch. Thanks @AlexTrovato!

The full CHANGELOG is available here .

How to update?

If you installed Gladys with the official Raspberry Pi OS image, your instances will update automatically in the coming hours. This can take up to 24 hours, don’t panic.

If you installed Gladys with Docker, make sure you are using Watchtower (See the documentation )

Hello,

Well done on the roller shutters in 4.11 — they seem nicely integrated.

I’m stuck getting this integration to work with roller shutters controlled by Tasmota.
Are the Tasmota MQTT messages for Shutters also working?
(because the Tasmota integration seems to see my shutters as 2 switches instead of a slider)

@AlexTrovato I can’t remember, does the Tasmota integration support roller shutters or not?

Hi,

As far as I remember, not yet — it’s on my to-do list…

EDIT: but the information provided by @bip91 will be useful to me!
