And the family sharing thing is also done. After 15 minutes, these devices were here too ![]()
Thanks for the feedback! For Family Sharing: Apple charges family membersâ devices after yours, and the integration didnât leave enough time. This is fixed in 2.4.2.
Also check that each family member shares their location with you (Settings â your name â Family â Share My Location).
If it still doesnât work, send the log line that starts with « Family Sharing: »: it shows how many family members Apple sees and how many are still charging.
Works perfectly. Thanks!
Thereâs one more thing I noticed: The error below occurs quite regularly when you try to add new devices from « Discover ». You try this about 10 times and eventually it works.
HTTP 500 â SERVER_ERROR â SequelizeTimeoutError: SQLITE_BUSY: database is locked â {
"name": "SequelizeTimeoutError",
"parent": {
"errno": 5,
"code": "SQLITE_BUSY",
"sql": "INSERT INTO `t_device` (`id`,`service_id`,`name`,`selector`,`external_id`,`should_poll`,`poll_frequency`,`created_at`,`updated_at`) VALUES ($1,$2,$3,$4,$5,$6,$7,$8,$9);"
},
"original": {

"sql": "INSERT INTO `t_device` (`id`,`service_id`,`name`,`selector`,`external_id`,`should_poll`,`poll_frequency`,`created_at`,`updated_at`) VALUES ($1,$2,$3,$4,$5,$6,$7,$8,$9);"
},
"sql": "INSERT INTO `t_device` (`id`,`service_id`,`name`,`selector`,`external_id`,`should_poll`,`poll_frequency`,`created_at`,`updated_at`) VALUES ($1,$2,$3,$4,$5,$6,$7,$8,$9);",

}
Thanks for the feedback @stefanbauer!
This error comes from Gladysâ database, not the integration:
- when you click on « Create », Gladys records the device in an SQLite transaction;
- if another write occurs at the same time (values sent by Zigbee, MQTT or any other integration), SQLite responds
SQLITE_BUSY: database is locked; - nothing is lost: just click on « Create » again.
I opened an issue on Gladysâ side with the cause and a possible fix: GladysAssistant/Gladys#3239
On my side, version 2.5.0 of the integration is available:
- a newly created device receives its values only once instead of twice, which means fewer writes to the database while adding devices;
- the documentation (Troubleshooting section) explains this error.
This doesnât completely solve the problem, which must be fixed in Gladys, but it should make it less frequent. Let me know if it works better after the update!
Yes, that was clear to me, but I wanted to mention it for completenessâ sake and place it with you because it has never actually occurred before. It only happens regularly when adding Apple devices
Thanks!
I also had the same issue when adding other devices in other external integrations. And indeed, after trying a few times, it eventually works.
