Hi everyone! ![]()
Levoit air purifiers and humidifiers are everywhere right now (the Core 300S, you see them in every room
). They are controlled with the VeSync app, and now also from Gladys.
What it does
- Levoit air purifiers (Core 200S/300S/400S/600S, Vital 100S/200S, EverestAir, Sprout Air): on/off, mode, speed, PM2.5, filter life, child lock, screen.
- Levoit humidifiers (Classic 200S/300S, Dual 200S, LV600S, OasisMist, Superior 6000S, Sprout): on/off, humidity and setpoint, mode, mist level, tank.
- Etekcity / VeSync plugs: on/off, and power, voltage and daily consumption depending on the model.
- Two triggers: « filter change » (adjustable threshold) and « empty tank ».
- A « VeSync Air Quality » widget: PM2.5, humidity and the status of each device.
- In French, English, German and Spanish.
The cool thing
PM2.5 above 25 in the bedroom → the purifier switches to auto mode
Humidity below 40% → the humidifier starts
Filter at 10% → reminder on the phone
Installation
Gladys 5.1 minimum.
It will arrive in the store at the next indexer run. In the meantime: Integrations → Install from GitHub, with GitHub - guim31/gladys-vesync: VeSync (Levoit) air purifiers, humidifiers and plugs for Gladys Assistant · GitHub
- In the configuration: the email and password of your VeSync account, then Test the connection.
- Discovery tab: add your devices.
Honest small reservations
- Developed without the hardware or VeSync account. I still checked the connection against the real service: it goes all the way and correctly identifies a non-existent account. What remains to be seen are the real data from your devices.
- It goes through the VeSync cloud (there is no local API), with a read per minute.
It is based on pyvesync (MIT), the Home Assistant library: thanks to webdjoe! Like the previous ones, developed with Claude Code. Independent project, not affiliated with VeSync, Levoit or Etekcity.
