Here is a new integration for Gladys.
This integration displays in Gladys the data from your Volkswagen electric cars from the ID range (ID.3, ID.4, ID.5, ID.7, ID. Buzz…). It uses the EU Data Act portal from Volkswagen and the account of the smartphone app Volkswagen.
Why the EU Data Act portal? Since June 1, 2026, Volkswagen has closed third-party applications’ access used by the ID app. The EU Data Act portal is the only remaining open source. It is read-only and Volkswagen publishes a report of the car every 15 minutes at best. The integration can therefore neither start charging nor the air conditioning, nor lock the car.
To allow obtaining the information, it is essential to log in to the site https://eu-data-act.drivesomethinggreater.com/ with your Volkswagen account to allow Gladys to access the car data (frequency: every 15 minutes at best). The detailed configuration procedure is described in the integration documentation.
