Hello everyone,
I present to you an external integration to monitor a GoodWe solar installation in Gladys.
What it does
- One device per inverter: production (instantaneous, daily, total), grid draw/injection and index, home consumption, battery (level, charge/discharge), temperature, grid voltage. Only the values provided by your model are created.
- Local (recommended): direct reading on your network (UDP 8899), every minute, without account or Internet. The inverter is found automatically, or via its IP address.
- Cloud SEMS (optional): with your SEMS account, read-only. It is used alone if Gladys is not on the same network as the inverter, or as a backup when the local connection fails (orange badge, automatic return).
- Supported families: ET/EH/BT/BH, ES/EM/BP (hybrids), DT/MS/D-NS/XS (grid).
Scenes
- Triggers: production started/stopped, solar surplus (adjustable threshold, ideal for starting the water heater or car charging), inverter fault, inverter unreachable/back online.
- Actions: read the inverter, change operating mode (hybrid ET), limit injection, set discharge depth.
Dashboard: a live « GoodWe Inverter » widget, and a « GoodWe Production » widget with the curve and daily balance (produced, drawn, injected, autonomy).
Available in French, English, German, and Spanish. Gladys 5.1 minimum.
Installation: Integrations → GoodWe, leave network search enabled (or enter the IP), click « Test Connection », then add the inverter from the Discovery tab.
I don’t have all models on hand: your feedback (model, firmware, weird values) is welcome here or in the issues.
