Hi @Einstein8854, no I donât have a Bluesky account ![]()
âŹ239 this morning ![]()
I hope it will go down in the next few days!
Have they stopped production? I canât find it on https://www.bee-link.com
The site is rarely up to date, I donât really know why!
In my view, the Beelink S12 Pro was essentially at the end of its life and was being replaced by the Beelink S13, which had a newer processor.
In 1 day ???
In just a few weeks! Itâs the AI-related demand that is apparently the cause.
Thatâs crazyâŠ.
(and really annoying!)
To keep you updated, I still have a Beelink T5 Pro (paid 95âŹ) that is in delivery and has been heavily delayed by the post office⊠As soon as I receive it, Iâll verify that everything works on this mini-PC, and if thatâs the case Iâll launch the âentry-levelâ offer ![]()
On the mid-range side, I also have an order in progress for a Beelink mini S with 8GB of RAM + 128GB of storage (paid 135âŹ).
Regarding the Beelink S13, for now
Iâve been following the conversations from afar due to lack of time; I havenât switched to Gladys yet (EEDOMUS for now). Iâm wondering why BEELINK? and not GMKTEC? What is crucial for Gladys? I suppose itâs more the amount of RAM than disk capacity because I donât understand the point of the Beelink S13âs 512GB storage.
I just received the Beelink T5, it looks crazy! The form factor is really tiny:
Tomorrow Iâll do the full installation!
@Titus, I could suggest other brands per se, but I have experience with Beelink: my home setup has been running on a Beelink for 2 years, and I feel more legitimate recommending hardware I use myself rather than a brand Iâve never tested
The entire Gladys training was filmed on Beelink, so I also have a lot of content about these mini-PCs.
Also, GMTek generally has similar prices to Beelink. Prices often fluctuate in the short term due to stock issues / production costs, but on average their offers are equivalent
If that changes, Iâll switch suppliers, thatâs for sure!
Okay, summary: Iâm convinced by the Beelink T5, itâs an entry-level machine that will be perfect for getting started for new Gladys users.
Iâll offer the kit at âŹ119.99 + âŹ8 shipping, i.e. âŹ127.99 :
I currently have only one mini-PC in stock; if youâre interested, contact me ![]()
Iâve ordered 2 more Beelink T5s because I think theyâll sell like hotcakes ![]()
Edit: itâs live on the site: Kit de dĂ©marrage Gladys clĂ© en main | Gladys Assistant
What do you think?
Thanks for everything , Pierre-Gilles
i will not fail to give feedback on the equipment and its operation
and of course some publicity for Gladys ;-))
This morning, received and set up a Beelink Mini S with 8 GB of RAM and a 128 GB SSD!
