Hello everyone,
I’m waiting to buy a new home to run Gladys on a larger scale (by the way, I’m probably going to get the newly released Ultimate guide to give me ideas…) and among the projects there will, of course, be monitoring the consumption of my Linky…
The thing is, I always see Enedis mentioned here, but nothing saying whether this can also work (or not) with another provider…
I currently have Engie; if I keep Engie, will that be possible?
Do we have a list of compatible energy suppliers?
You’re absolutely right That’s the whole idea of this guide!
I have no idea if it works As stated on Enedis’ website:
Enedis is an electricity distribution network operator while Engie is one of the energy suppliers in the same way as EDF.
So it’s possible that it will work.
Do you have an Enedis account? If not, is it possible to create one?
Otherwise, as you put in the title, indeed a Lixee TIC will let you get the consumption and the « live » index (meter reading) of your consumption — after that it depends on what you’re looking for to monitor your usage.
The Enedis integration provides historical consumption data from J-1, whereas a Lixee will show your consumption in real time.
I’ll try to see if I can create an Enedis account and dig into the matter with Engie as well…
If the Lixee TIC can provide a « live » index, it can therefore also count without having to go to Enedis… There’s a risk of error, that’s true, depending on the sampling frequency (we might miss positive or negative peaks or, conversely, assume peaks are normal over the period)…
At Engie, I only have measurements at J-3 on average, this kind of calculation could give an estimate before getting the « real » value… On the other hand, wouldn’t using Galdys’ capabilities solely for that risk overloading it?
Okay, so I just created my Enedis account…
I added my meter and apparently no problem with my supplier, Engie…
They are decoupled from each other, so I’d tend to say it doesn’t matter who you have an account with since in the end we’re all with Enedis (you just need to create an account there)
All that’s left is to buy a Lixee TIC and set up my installation
I’m interested in this topic — I’ve had a Lixee (lixee) for a few months but I haven’t configured anything in particular (and I haven’t noticed anything particular in Gladys). I’d appreciate any recommendations.
The measurement_poll_interval is the frequency at which the TIC will send data, in seconds. At least 60 seconds, but if you don’t need that level of precision, you can set it to every 5 minutes (300)
The « tic_command_whitelist » is the data that the TIC will send. Only include what you need — no need to send everything if you don’t use it all
I’m new to Gladys. My goal is to retrieve my consumption data in real time. How can I access these settings? My meter is set to Base and Historical TIC mode. Will it be possible to export this data to a spreadsheet?
Hello,
If you mean the settings that @cicoub13 was talking about here, they are available via the ZigBee2MQTT container configuration page.
If you’ve already enabled the integration you can access it by going here:
Hello,
what should I put in the TIC command whitelist knowing that I am in historical mode and without off-peak and peak hours.
Is it possible to have a larger graph?
