Multi-user Gladys Plus

Hello @pierre-gilles,

I wanted to follow up on this topic Multi-users and find out if you had planned to also integrate multi-users in Gladys Plus?
I may have missed something, but I don’t have the option to enable Gladys Plus when I create a new admin or user.

Yes it works, you need to create a 2nd user on Gladys and also link them. (I use it with multiple accounts)

I understand which menu you’re referring to, but when I click the « Invite a User » button after entering an email, nothing happens. That’s why I thought the feature wasn’t implemented yet…

Oh strange. Do you confirm that it doesn’t work or is it just a display bug? If you refresh the page, does the invitation go through?

I tried refreshing after clicking and nothing happened. To be sure, I just tried again from different browsers without success.

Can you confirm that you are on https://plus.gladysassistant.com, « Settings » => « Plus Users », and that you do:

That’s exactly it @pierre-gilles!
I just tested again this morning on my work PC without success.
It seems like the button has no function for me because nothing happens at all when I click on it… Not even a little bit of loading :sweat_smile:

Alright, could you check your browser logs? I know it’s not very user-friendly to ask you that, but since there’s no tracking in Gladys to respect privacy, it’s much harder to know what’s going wrong compared to traditional products ^^

In your browser (preferably Chrome for this test), right-click anywhere on the page, « Inspect element » → « Console ».

Then keep the console open, enter the email of the user you want to invite and click on « Invite ».

And you show us the browser logs :slight_smile:

Ok @Mastho, I understand, it was quite silly. You had already invited the user to Gladys Plus, then removed access to that account.

I just realized there is a check when you invite someone that blocks the invitation if the person has already been invited (to avoid double invitations), but in your case you invited and then deleted, so it doesn’t make sense to prevent re-inviting.

  • I deleted the old invitation (so it should work for you now)
  • I will change this constraint, it’s normal to be able to invite someone again if you have removed access
  • I will put a more explicit message in the UI for the user ^^
