Same for me, Gladys Plus works very well, no latency for the commands I checked with my cameras broadcast by Gladys Plus, I coupled Gladys with Google, everything installs itself the devices are directly assigned to the right rooms, and Google’s voice command works very well with Gladys. And to finish the regular backup that is done automatically, and the restoration is great, just install the blank image of Gladys then connect and Gladys Plus offers the backup performed and everything installs, no more tinkering to recover the files to save Gladys. And on top of that it supports the project

Since then, I’ve been using Owntracks (well, NextTracks now because of Android updates ^^) and using it from outside with Gladys as a PWA installed on all my devices as well, it’s really awesome . I connected it to my Google Home and as soon as I add a controllable Zigbee device, it works perfectly, there’s 0 latency. So no need to hesitate, you have to go for Gladys Plus!!!

For my part, I’m still hesitating because I already have remote access with my VPN and I’ve set up automatic backups of the Gladys database and zigbee2mqtt files. After the external API, I’m not sure what I could really do with it right now. The other two features of Gladys Plus don’t interest me. Okay to support the project, but there won’t be any real added value for me. So I’m still thinking about it… especially since I haven’t migrated everything yet, my heating (Netatmo + Z-Wave module) still needs to be migrated from Domoticz and all the Zigbee temperature sensors (which I use to manage my room heating).

Ce produit est pour moi un petit bijou, notamment le chiffrement de bout en bout dont je suis très fier, et jusque là j’étais un peu déçu qu’il soit si peu utilisé. C’est entrain de changer, et ça fait très plaisir !

I updated the open page of the site to display the real MRR (monthly recurring revenue) calculated from Stripe data, because until now I was just doing a calculation:

MRR = nombre d'abonnés * 9.99€

But that didn’t work anymore, now that there are half-price users and full-price users.

I changed the currency to euros instead of dollars, because the exchange rate has been quite unstable these past months and it produced a number that wasn’t very representative. Better to be in euros since the subscriptions are charged in euros
