Issue with external tapo integration

Hello @Will_71. Thanks for developing this integration.

I installed it, configured my Tapo access and the RTSP credentials for my 8 cameras, and the discovery phase went well.
But when I go to Devices and want to set the room, I have an issue: the first room configuration works fine, and the second room configuration goes into a loop, and the whole Gladys becomes unavailable (the dashboards no longer display, the scenes stop triggering…). I have to do a docker container restart gladys to get out of it.

No strange logs in the Gladys container, and in your container logs, I see this:

I experienced the same behavior with another external integration while renaming multiple devices. Is this coming from the integration or the core?

I would say that it’s the core because I had the same issue with overkiz.

## Description I'm currently reorganizing all my devices following the new feat…ures enabled by external integrations. I'm in the **Overkiz** integration, assigning rooms to my devices. The first devices I click on save quickly, but the following ones stay stuck on the loader (spinning wheel) for a very long time. <img width="858" height="441" alt="Image" src="https://github.com/user-attachments/assets/f4359a3d-33ef-43ed-9f0a-37675165a117" /> After 5 minutes, still nothing happens visually, and if I navigate to another page, Gladys stops responding entirely. I've noticed this behavior on other integrations too, but never this long, so I'm not sure whether the issue comes from Overkiz or from Gladys itself. **EDIT**: after 5 more minutes of waiting, still nothing. The only solution I found: restart the Docker container. ## Steps to reproduce 1. Go to Integrations > Overkiz 2. Assign a room to a device (the first ones save quickly) 3. Keep assigning rooms to the following devices 4. Notice that the save time keeps increasing, until it never completes 5. Navigate to another page: Gladys stops responding ## Expected behavior Assigning a room to a device should save quickly, regardless of how many devices have already been processed. ## Current workaround Restart the Gladys Docker container. ## Environment - Gladys version: 4.86 - Installation mode: Docker - Integration involved: Overkiz

However, I don’t know if it’s already in production or not.

Hello, has anyone managed to get the video stream on a Tapo C660? The cameras are discovered but no image is displayed. Thanks in advance.

Hi @JKBS64, what type of camera is it?
Have you enabled the RTSP account in the TAPO app?

If it’s battery and solar powered, TAPO does not officially expose images via RTSP. I managed to do it via HTTP, but I drastically limited image captures otherwise the battery life drops too quickly, and the solar panel provided with the camera is no longer enough to charge it.

Hi, that’s exactly it, battery-powered and also solar. I had a feeling I had an issue with RSTP. So how did you do it over HTTP?

it’s already present in the integration, but maybe it’s not possible with your camera. There are parameters in the integration dedicated to the camera battery/solar and you need to adjust the battery levels and time between each request

You can try to force by clicking on the button

The solution for my camera might not be the same for you. Because mine is a C610.
