Hello
here is my problem: I went on vacation and unfortunately the Telegram bot crashed in Gladys, which partially shut down the service (strange — I could receive messages but could no longer send messages to the bot)
is there a way for Gladys to check if the bot is still active and, if not, restart it???
thanks
You can contact « BotFather » using your Telegram app. It will let you list your bots
yes but in this case it was Gladys that crashed because I was receiving messages but I couldn’t send any to it
and when I came back I just restarted Telegram in Gladys and it’s all good

As far as I know there is no « check » by Gladys to see if the bot is still active. But reactiv
By any chance haven’t you configured the same bot in two places?
In Gladys and Node-RED, for example? Or two instances of Gladys running at the same time?
I have Telegram only on my phone and on another PC, but just Telegram
And I installed the bot only on my Gladys, which is unique
When you say you couldn’t send messages to Gladys, what did you notice?
I was sending messages from my phone but no response from gladys
But I was receiving temperature alert messages from gladys independent of my messages
Are you talking to Gladys via the ChatGPT integration or Gladys’s local model?
Do you have errors in Gladys’s logs?
docker logs gladys
No error because the log doesn’t go back far enough, but I found something else that I need to look at.
So I have an update
No solution yet but the issue has reappeared
; that will help provide additional information for debugging!

I made the request Pierre Gille asked for, but didn’t see anything unusual. I’ll check as soon as I can to see if there’s a crash.
Yes, send me the logs as soon as you have the issue, otherwise it’s hard to help you ^^
