Ability to edit a block title on the Dashboard

I would really like to be able to customize the titles of the blocks on my Dashboard.
Actually, I’m a bit circumventing the use of the different dashboards, because I find it more practical this way: I create a dashboard for each room, in which I can then display what I want. Maybe I’ll change this way of doing things one day… but for now it suits me!

However, I end up with this:

I am therefore in my LIVING ROOM tab, with blocks that have the title LIVING ROOM. It’s not super annoying, but I would be happy to be able to edit this to write instead:
SWITCHES
OPENING SENSORS
LIGHTS

Maybe I’m not the only one to imagine that this might be useful!

This morning I had the idea of offering a dashboard per room by default, if it contains devices.
This would be super practical in my case, rather than doing it and updating it manually.

I share this idea because it’s what I do in the end

In addition to that, I created a dashboard for each type:

  • One for all the « actuators », for controlling all the lights and outlets
  • One for all the temperatures
  • etc.

Super practical!

You might be in the same situation as me: I would have liked a faster way to switch from one dashboard to another ^^
For example, displaying all of them (to be seen depending on the case where there are many dashboards) as tabs.
No need to open the dropdown like that :+1:

I was thinking about the tabs/buttons too!

It should be noted, however, that Gladys is appreciated for its simple and pleasant interface. Adding buttons could degrade all that.

Also be able to customize with icons like @jerome did

They’re just emojis, you can do it already.

I think @gaetanb76 was talking about block titles he’d like to add emojis to.

Ok, that’s so simple, I hadn’t thought of it.
Thanks.

Hello , yes indeed it would be much clearer to be able to replace or supplement the block name ( by or with ) the name of the equipment used .

We can close this request. We can do it.

I don’t think so, do I?

Ah, I confused it with the dashboard title!

@guim31 can we close this thread? So with the « Devices » widget it’s fine!

Indeed, the problem is solved!! You can close this.
