Initially, I was hesitating between waiting for Apple’s hypothetical « HomePad » (champion of the closed ecosystem but paradoxically a member of the Matter alliance) and Home Assistant, whose complexity is as great as its catalog of integrations…
due to my uncertainty, I started equipping myself with Matter over Thread devices (via Apple TV 4K):

- Kajplats bulbs
- Alpstuga sensor
- Grillplats outlets
- Klippbok water leak sensor
- Bilresa remotes
I also have a Somfy Tahoma switch for io roller shutters.
In my shopping plans: Shelly WS90 weather station (but unfortunately in Zigbee), Reolink cameras, IKEA timmerflotte sensors…
In short, I’m still in full reflection, both on the equipment and the ecosystem to adopt…
